Nika Short, LMT

Nika’s journey to becoming a massage therapist began after nearly ten years as a wilderness educator. Months on the trails led to sore muscles, occasional injuries, and a fascination with movement. In 2017, she pursued training at the Sage School of Massage in Bend, Oregon. After several years of working in clinical and spa settings, she opened Massage by Nika in 2021, and maintained this small and thriving practice from her tranquil home-based studio.

In 2026 Nika returned to Eugene to be closer to her family, eager to be able to provide bodywork to her hometown. She specializes in therapeutic deep tissue, Neuromuscular facilitation, craniosacral therapy, and Reiki, always tailoring her approach to meet each person’s unique needs. Cupping and heat therapy can be added to any session upon request.

When she’s not in the massage studio, Nika can be found exploring nature through hiking, immersing herself in live music, or planning her next travel adventure. She is looking forward to meeting you at your next session!
